Introduce Yourself

Hi!

My name is Andreas. I live in Norway working with fireworks here. I’ve been in the business for about 10 years, but only part time in combination with other activities. Therefore, working with fireworks is more of a hobby. I’m running a small company called “Seter Engeland Pyroteknikk” (Seterpyro for short), and shooting a couple of shows now and then. My main interest is working with big pyromusicals, but since I don’t have particularly wealthy customers or a large marketing budget, I have to settle with designing pyromusicals:-)

I got my Pro user one week ago and I have to say that I’m very impressed with what I’ve seen so far with Finale, especially considering the relative low price. The graphical quality is simply outstanding compared to what I’ve been working with up to now. I have a couple of years experience with one of the other sim softwares (not any 3D), but I figured out I give Finale a try. Of course, many effects still missing, and a bit to go on functionality, but still an excellent program in my opinion.

There’s a lot of discussion here about effects, and I might have some ideas and workarounds for this. I’ll come back to that and my “wish list” for other improvements of the SW in the proper forums.
